Is there any difference on P900's sold in Asia and Europe?

I will be travelling from Norway to Asia tomorrow and will probably be buying there...

probably the language packs! Norwegian wont be one of the language options but maybe you can install it afterwards. Check Sony Ericsson's support website.

The P900 Asia version is (correct me if I am wrong) the same as the european version. Input is only in english (T9), multitap, handwriting predictive and virtual keyboard.

P908 is the chinese version of P900, ONLY available in The Pople's Republic of China.

P900c is the chinese version of P900 available in Singapore, and perhaps in some other countries. P908 is not available in Singapore. I enquired before and was amazed about it. They say that it would be the same case as a P800c being available and not a P802.

In Taiwan, they have another version of the P900 (not sure the name, if I am not wrong, it is still P900c). This version uses the Traditional Chinese, while the P908 and P900c sold elsewhere is in Standard Chinese.

Both P908 and P900c (chinese versions) have lesser built in memory, 13MB instead of 16MB that is found in the P900.

This is mainly due to the fact that the chinese versions require quite a large space for the chinese input. If you want a chinese-english dictionary, it will take up more space.

Other features are mainly the same. So it is a matter of whether you want to input chinese into your smartphone or not. If you want chinese input, some memory has to be compromised.

yeah, and Taiwan too, but the taiwanese version will be in traditional chinese. The P908 and P900c will only be out in Q1 2004 I believe.
