Okay now I'm mad. I ordered my P900 over a week ago. I received it last week. I was so excited to get it that I was actually shaking. Now, first off when I purchased the P900 I was under the impression that I would receieve a Sony Ericsson charger (I live in Chicago), but no. Instead I get some cheap charger that won't charge my phone no more, luckily I live near a T-mobile store and was able to purchase another charger. Secondly, this goes out to Bob_USA and to anyone in the US under a T-mobile contract. When using Opera or the internet browser can you login to Yahoo! or anyother website via VPN. I can't. I've tried about 50 times, I've only been able to login 3 times. Is my P900 broken or something. Well I won't waste your time anymore by chatting I'll just show you the list of things.

1. After 1 week it's already creaking.
2. Not able to login to VPN.
3. Camera has a broken line running down the right hand side of pictures.
4. I don't know if this is normal but i installed taskman, and when i closed all the programs, it's said theyre was only 7.-- mb of ram available. Normal or not.
Please Expansys. I don't want to add you to the list of phony online retailers. Please assist me. For a close to $900 phone, this should not look/handle/run good but be able to make my coffee.I will be e-mailing you soon Expansys.

Sorry to hear of your problems. I suggest you get a firmware upgrade, that should address the camcorder issue I believe (what is your firmware version?). I have 11.1mb of space on the c: drive but only have 7.2 mb of RAM for apps. The view here seems to be that the SE keep some RAM unaccessible to stop people from filling the memory with no way to recover - a common problem with the P800. My charger is fine, not heard any others with problems. Others have a solution for the creaking case and hopefully they will post suggestions.

The faulty charger wasn't s fault, it's those who you purchased it from that have done something wrong.

What does your issues with the phone have to do with the dealer you bought them from? Wouldn't your issue be with SE?

Just like the p800 and windows for that matter. There is always some memory leakage. Some applications may put something on the memory and "forget" to remove it when they stop using it or get closed. Turn the phone off and on again. Then run Filemanager and close down all apps. On my phone I sometimes get a little over 9MB.
But if the phone has been on for a day or 2 I might not be able to get more than 6-7 Mb. I suppose you are just gonna have to live with this...

Your P900 should come w/ a charger along with whole lot of other accessories (headset, dockin station, case, etc etc) I think it's unheard of a cellphone that doesn't come with a charger unless it's a hot item

Expansys has been great for the product that I have purchased and I'm sure that they will solve your problem, you should have contacted them first and then wrote this post.

I have never been able to get more than 7.2mb for RAM even after a format and restore (I have at times 12mb free on c:). This is not like the situation on my P800.

Perhaps uiq 2.1 requries more memory(one would thinks that themes and stuff like that takes som memory..). Since both p800 and p900 have 16MB Ram this would seem logical.

You mean I'm not the only guy in Chicago with a P900????
Dammit!
I better throw mine away then as this just won't do.
But seriously, I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with the phone.
PM me and we can swap war stories...I may know a few tricks to help you out with the Opera situation also.
