Ive got a file with hundreds of Polyphonics in, can I download these via the SE MMS studio?

The MMS Studio is mainly for creating MMS.
You'd be better off using something like Sendfile ( see
www.christersson.org ) or even
My Pictures ( see
www.sonyericsson.com )

what you download from
MMS Composer is an MMS message ready to be sent out. It will contain the audio file but it will not store it in your ringtones folder
