> Ericsson R520m freezing

Recently my R520 has started freezing when I try to select Bluetooth from the Extras menu. It is also freezing if I try selecting WAP from the main menu. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary with the phone lately. Neither have I messed with any settings from the last time Bluetooth and WAP worked. Bluetooth was working just fine a month ago (the last time I synched my contacts) and WAP was working about two weeks ago. Does anyone know what is wrong and most importantly how to fix it?

when you check firmware version in the service menu, does it freeze then as well?
for service menu, press this sequence:
right * left left * left *

I can get to the service menu but when I go to Service Info and try to select SW Information the phone freezes. The Configuration option from Service Info works fine. As does the Service Tests menu and all of the tests.

then there is not much you can do... a faulty memory is causing the problem.

Good news. I called Ericsson this morning and they will repair my phone for free. Since I've got the receipt the warranty is good a year from when I purchased the phone (October 2003). I'm much relieved that I don't need to buy myself a new phone, especially around Christmas. It looks like my T306 will get some use for the next week or two.
