LONDON, December 11 (New Ratings) – Analysts at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein maintain their "buy" rating on Ericsson (ERICb.ST). The target price is set to SEK40.
Shares of Ericsson, one of the largest global telecom company, producing mobile handsets, are currently trading at SEK11.70.
According to Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein's research note published this morning, the company's Sony-Ericsson division has been making significant contributions to Ericsson's earnings. Sony-Ericsson, in a private meeting, disclosed that it has been witnessing excellent sales for the past few months, particularly in Europe, the analysts add. The demand for Sony-Ericsson's T610 and P900 models has also been growing, the analysts say.
According to the analysts, the demand for Sony-Ericsson's products would remain robust during the first few months of 2004. The company's market share would rise significantly in 2004, the analysts say. Sony-Ericsson is likely to post impressive operating margins of 9%-10% during the period, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein forecasts.
Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein maintains its “buy” rating on Ericsson.

hopefully at the same time next year, SE could be going for runner up or with alot of luck be number 1

Lets hope SE keeps up with its innovation, not like some N brand where they treat consumers like monkeys (which they are anyway... Monkey see, monkey do)
