P900 - Flip on, try writing a text on a bumpy bus without it!

Flip is On
When I first got my P900 I removed the flip instantly. My girlfriend likes it that way. I also thought it would look better without the flip. Actually it did. Just two days ago I reattached the flip. Although it does not look as sleek with the flip attached, the functionality of the phone part of the machine is much better. It is easier to make calls, start and end calls and use the T9.
I just wish I could add contacts in the flip closed mode. It's so stupid from SE that they have not included that option in the software.
So how does everybody else use the phone? Flip On or Off?

@ed311,when i type a number on the screen in flip closed mode,i hit the options button, select "Copy number" then when you open the flip, open phonebook, tap "contacts", "new" then "edit" then "paste".
In practice, i have never had to do this because i find the number is almost always in the call list, but if it isnt, when someone gives me their number i usualy make there phone ring to check its correct, this puts it in the call list & can be tapped on & "add to contacts".
