> at&t t68 compatibility w/voicestream

I just bought a AT&T T68 and havent received it yet. I am worried becuase I am a Voicestream customer. Is the phone going to work with the VS sim? Please advise!

Yes, ATT Locks their phones so only their sim card works on it, and their gsm service sucks. That is probably why you got it for cheaper. I've seen the att t68's for $180 with a service contract while unlocked phones are $350-$400. Your Voicestream sim card will not work with it unless someone creates an unlocking program for us to use, but it isn't out yet, and might not be. You might be able to send it in for service and they might unlock it by accident, but not likely. I know of a person in Canada that does unlocking for about $89 I think.
