In Thailand we've 4 GSM from 3 big firms:

-GSMadvanced
-GSM1800
-DTAC
-Orange

GSMAdvanced and GSM1800 are from the same company called AIS. And we also have CDMA and so on...

In the upcoming June the government is going to launch its own GSM1900 called ThaiMobile.

4 in israel: orange, cellcom, pelephone, and amigo

orange is the only GSM (900) for now, but cellcom is starting with its GSM network (1800) soon; otherwise, cellcom = TDMA, pelephone = CDMA + analog, and amigo = iDEN
