anybody have some experience with this camera...?
i just bought it today and take a "few" pictures...
the quality is quite good (like mca-25) but there's one thing that really annoyes me:every time I go out from camera menu the camera dissconnects.I have to plug it out and then back in.
Is this just in my case or is the same thing with all mca-30 cameras...?

It might just be the connectors on your phone having coroded a bit.
All cameras use the same connecting points underneath the phone but it's only a tiny tip of it touching to create the connection.
There is several wways to clean off the corrotion but I usually just take an erazor (rubber) and gently rub till it looks clean. Blow off the remedies from the rbber and try again.

Is your camera listed under 'accessories' when it's connected to your phone? If it is, selecting it should activate the camera again.

What phone are you using the cam with?

If you are not experiencing the same trouble with the older MCA-25, I could only presume that it's the phone or it's firmware that's giving you the trouble.

Hey everybody I'm new here. I really need your help. I also have the same problem with my mca-30. Whenever I exit from the camera menu, the camera disconnects itself. I'm using a T310 with R1F005 firmware. I just bought the mca-30 today. By the way, what is the trick to show the firmware of the mca-30? Thanks in advance.

I can find my camera under Pictures & Sounds so I donīt have to re plug it in my phone. I can access my camera in that menu. Have you tried it?

hsampson, I tried accessing the camera through the Fun and Games Menu but the CommuniCam option is not accessible. Actually it works sometimes. I'll try to contact Sony Ericsson here in the Philippines to inquire about this minor problem or bug. By the way, what firmware version do you have with your T310? Mine is R1F0005.
