> T610 double keypress problem
Bookmark topic
Hey, having a problem with my t610 thats really annoying! Sometimes if i just press a key once it is asif i have pressed it twice and it ends up doing completely the wrong thing. For example if i press calls, sometimes it will automatically call the first name in the list. I just had the latest software update and its still doing it, looks like it might be a physical problem. Anyone else had this or know a cure appart from taking it to a service center because my closest one is about an hour and a half drive away and theyre plain lazy. Cheers, Urzrkymn.

Same ere. Do you think its cos i hav the 1st firmware (r1a). And it doesnt matter how hard you press the button, it still doubles the letter. :-l

dont think its because of your firmware stu, i went from the earliest to the latest and had the problem with both of them. Didnt have enough time to let the service center have a look at the keypad when i had the upgrade unfortunately.

It doesent mather wath firmware you have. The only thing that will help is to open the phone and clean inside the buttons. You have to take the phone to a service centre cuz if you open up your phone at home you will lose your waranty.

A familiar problem. I have sent some emtpty SMSs because of this. I thought the SW upgrade would help, but it didn't. Guess I have to visit the service center again.
