Does anyone know if delivery reports for SMS messages are available on the P900? I thought a firmware upgrade fixed this on the P800 so it seems quite a strange omission from the P900.

Thanks,

Dimitri

both P800 and P900 have sms delivery reports, they are ''hidden'' in a different tab behind the one when you compose the sms

After you compose your sms goto the next folder (with the picture of the head and shoulders) and put delivery report to on

You have to do this everytime you compose an sms

It just such a shame you can set it up when the flip is closed!

Yes, it is a bit of a pain. Firstly, you have to set it to on every time you send an sms and secondly you have to open the flip to access the relevant setting. Hopefully it will be fixed in a firmware upgrade.

I suppose the logic behind it is you will switch it on for important sms.

It is a pain that you can't set delivery reports on for all messages by default. Maybe it's done this way to keep the network operators happy - fewer delivery reports mean less network traffic??

Yeah it's a pain having to switch delivery reports on for each message.. Still could be worse, like when P800 first came out you couldn't get a report for love nor money!
