Does anyone have an idea when this will be available? It does say it will be available in the white paper.

yeah I thought he might have meant P800 from his title (and avatar) but
here is the P800 whitepaper and I can't find any reference to this in there so just assumed he meant p900, perhaps he will clarify

As far as I know full update of P800's firmware is not possibile due to technical reason. So I don't think it will ever be possibile to update it on-line just like with P900, service centers will be the only possibile solution.

Sony Ericsson certainly will NOT implement the update service for P800 even if it's technically possible, simply for the "business benefit" reasons. They want you to move to a new generation phone, why would they buff up the old ones?! If they don't have something new to lure the buyers, they wouldn't be in business

Of course, it's anyone's guess if/when "a new firmware upgrade [will] become available for the Sony Ericsson P800."

If you read the lastest white paper and go to page 19 and read paragraph 4 you will notice that it clearly states that the update service for the P800 will be available. i am just wondering when this will be available... hopefully SE will have a new firmware available soon that will fix alot of current bugs!
