Is there softwares in morphun who can use IR as a remote controller ?

The T610 is only designed for data transfer and the modem. So the ir range is short This message was posted from a T610

T610 have short range ir that is designed for speed on data transfer, not range. You see bether speed means shorter range. There is no mophun program that alow you to do that and if you create this sort of program you need to pay the company behind mophun to give you the sertification. So even if you make the program yourself you have to pay to use it.

Greetings everyone...

I have seen and tried such a remote control application for T610, but it uses Bt instead of Ir and it's just for controlling a PC.

It can be useful during a presentation with... say, PowerPoint.

@T-Shirt was it called pc-control by any chance????

My mate has got a 7650 and hes got a great remote program on it, its got hundreds of manufacturers listed with the TV/Hi-Fi/DVD/VCR frequencys all availiable for each. Range is pretty good too, probably about 4metres. Its pretty funny turning the channel on the TV in the front of dixons to a snowy one, good advertising

Hi speedooh,

I heard it, too but I believe it can be used with T610 since my friend showed me how to use it and I saw that the mouse pointer in Windows was moving around the screen in the same direction as the joystick navigation of the T610.

I do not know whether that is a clone of the same application for Symbian 60 or not, but it works. Should any of you need a further confirmation, I can try the application later today and report the result by tomorrow here in this thread.

Regards,

T-Shirt.
