I was trying to transfer ringtones I had downloaded to owner of a nokia 6310i. Paired both phones, added to my devices, but when I tried to send files .. connection initially appeared okay but then dropped! Any suggestions? :0(

Do not take this as being correct, but I sware I have seen a thread somewhere about samsungs not being able to recieve pictures or send pictures to sony ericcson phones. Could this be the case with the nokia? With the two phones not being the same make they aren't communicating properly and thus the connection is lost because the ringtone is being sent incorrectly. I might be barking up the wrong tree complelty here and if I am I appologise, just thought I'd add my suggestion as knowbody seems to have replied yet.
Hope this helps

You may may right. At the same time I was able to pair and send/receive stuff with a Siemens.

Well like I said its just an idea and im not certain about it, but with your phone working with a siemens, I suppose it could just be a brand of phone type of thing and its chance if different brands work with other brands.

Suggestion, get a BT dongle for your pc then you could use that to send the ringtones to your pc then to your mates phone. A bit of a pain but would be a way around it.
