Alright guys, I searched for an hour and haven't found a post like this, so if there is just link me.

This is what happened, I made a theme for my friends T68 or whatever and it's bad ass (of course) and I wanted to send it to him. Read what I've done so far, and keep in your mind, he still does not have the theme I made him.
1) I emailed it to him via Attachment (he couldn't view the attachment)
2) I uploaded it to my website and sent him the link, eg www.blah.com/flip.thm (didn't work on his wap)
3) We uploaded it to euploader.com (500 Bad Request, stupid AT&T)
4) He uploaded it to geocities (another error)
5) Uploaded to his ISP's webspace (The directory folder opened in WAP, but when he clicked on flip.thm it wouldn't let him save it as a theme, but as an image or a sound and other stuff.)

I have no idea wtf to do, I've been working on this since 4 pm, I don't understand why I can't just upload it to my website and have him DL it. Please help, this shit's on my nerves.

have you tried zipping it before uploading? in the past i've had problems downloaing .thm files straight. windows doesn't recognise mobile phone themes so that may be causing some problems.

maybe you could also try a direct BT/IR transfer from your computer to his phone?

just some initial thoughts, but i haven't done it before so be warned.

He doesn't have BT, IR, or Serial. I am trying to get it to his phone through WAP.

What phone do you have?
Did you try to get the theme over to your phone???
What program was you using to create the theme?
Have you ever used that software before and made succes?

Ur last straws: wap41.com tagtag.com mobile9.com mywap.o2.co.uk msite.nl upload and dl via wap. Also u can't they themes without a apt software, like theme creator pro g. Hope i helped u :-) This message was posted from a T300

he has a T68 = he has BT (and IR). if your computer does then it should work if you pair them. possibly you could transfer it to your phone, then to his. otherwise try zipping it before emailing it to him.

Wow, lots of replies, awsome. One question at a time though:

What phone do you have?
He has a T68, I have a T610, Therefor I could not test the theme out myself, but the program I used show it working fine, the XML checks out and there shouldn't be anything wrong with it.
Did you try to get the theme over to your phone???
The theme is for a phone that I do not have =)

BTW, for the fellow that said I should use BT to get the theme to the phone. I have BT, but he doesn't. Basically I'm posting for someone else, has has WAP (that's why I posted here) and no other means of getting anything to his phone besides wap. He has successfully downloaded themes from other WAP sites such as Esato.com, that's why I am so puzzled, what does Esato do to get themes onto cellphones? heh.

Oh yeah, and I did put the theme on my phone, and then MMS'ed it to him, but it didn't work. It said "user barred" ???

@gelfen: If exile send the theme over to his buddy in a mail then his buddy wil get the theme on his computer and he cant still get the theme in to his t68 because he doesent have any conection other then wap.

that could be because he doesn't have MMS active on his phone account. some more thoughts:

does the guy live near you? if so he could just come over and you could do the transfer at home. if you know anyone else with a t68 test it on theirs.

you should still be able to get the theme onto your phone by doing an object push from the pc, but you won't be able to use it. then you can transfer from yours to his.

finally, try zipping it before emailing and he can unzip and upload it to a wap site.
