Hi,

I have bought a P900, but one thing is annoying me:

How do I get the speaker to play ringtones when stereo portalbe hansdfree is connected?

I have missed a lot of calls since it is only playing ring-tones in the headset when I get at call

Regards,

Pqvist

As far as I am aware you can't do what you are asking. If the handsfree kit is plugged in you have to use that to listen for system sounds i.e. ringtones, alarms, etc One presumes that if you have plugged the headset in then you are actually using it and so won't miss said system sounds. I would suggest that you simply un-plug the headset when you aren't using it so that you don't miss any calls.

hai; thot this might b of some help to u
go to main standby menu and tap spkr icon and u get sounds & alerts
Select handheld under ring volume out of the 3 options there.
when u r listening to some songs in the headphone the music will stop and the call ring tone will be played in the spkrphone.
if u hv recorded a voice for the contact then the p900 plays the contact name in the headset and then when u press the button in the handsfree, the call is activated.

I must be stupid, but the "main standby" menu, where can I find it?
Don't recall any such menu on my P900.

I think what callerid means is when you open your flip of your phone you are in the main standby screen there at the bottum you see speaker icon ( same as in windows ) tap on that one Then tap on Settings Then you will come up in the screen Sounds and alerts.. And at the option Ring volume you can choose the option that callerid is talking about.

Cheers
