I have previously owned a P800 but sold it as i found the phone was very unusable without the pen there were never enough programs available with the flip closed and like i've said anytime you really wanted to enter txt properly i found the pen was needed, Now that is just my opinion and i'm certain many will disagree but apart from that i loved the phone and everything it did.

What i'm getting at is I want a P900 but don't want a P800 with a prettier case, does the P900 allow you to do anything more without the pen or is it just as reliant on the thing???

I had a P800. I looked at the P900 specifications. On paper, there really is not much difference. I decided it wasn't worth upgrading - the phones were similar enough that the cost was not justified.

The O2 had their free P900 deal and I couldn't resist, so I got one - and I discovered that although the differences are very small on paper, when the phone's in your hand they're huge. The P900 is a significantly more pleasant, usable device.

I think the improved display counts for a lot.

I like the fact the P900 has t9, i'm a big texter! I went for the o2 deal, wasn't going to have a P900, I was going to wait for sendo x, after trying the P900 i had to get one. Very happy with it and it's a great companion with my T610 too! This message was posted from a T610

Free p900 on o2 if you get it on a 45quid a month (or above) tariff. I actually got mine from cpw, told them the o2 deal and they price matched. This message was posted from a T610

the moment you put the SEPs together and compare, iv e never looked back. the screens better, the camera stuffs so well defined.
One problem, i'll have to start buying tooth picks again. Besides, its good to have the use of T9 again.
Ive noticed that some of the software i used to use on the 800 dont work on the 900, when r they all gonna catch up with the times....
