Hi everyone,

got my 'free' O2 P900 last night, will leave it a few days before trying to 'plead' for a downgrade....anyone got any tips on what's the best tactic to use? Should I say, that I've re-thought and I'll NEVER use that many free minutes??? Any tips gratefully received!!

Secondly, anyone got a good way of setting up the O2 P900 with an Orange SIM card in it (i.e. setting up WAP and e-mail settings)? Orange usually send SMS messages when you buy phones, I guess I'll have to do it all manually?? Again, any tips gratefully received, if there's a shortcut!

Best wishes

Vince

I can tell you now, it will be three months before u can downgrade

The ONLY People that will let you downgrade now after 30 days is ORANGE, but thats providing you brought the phone from THEM no one else, I had exactly the same conversation with O2 and Orange before I brought my P900

I got mine from here

http://www.livetelecom.com/erol.html#1x0&&

£469.99 inc VAT and it is supplied as SIM FREE not locked EVER and there is a small difference to a phone being supplied sim free and being UNLOCKED im led to believe

Send yours back as its still able to be returned and get the one above, coz it works out a really nice price tbh

@ pepperami.
According to other people on this forum, it is hit and miss as to wether yyou can downgrade before 3 months is up on o2. I think it must depend on what day of the week/how good a mood the operator is in
