hello all

I am confused after speaking the orange(uk) call centre about wap/internet settings on my p900. i have the orange access pack on my phone which i understand covers wap only but how do i tell if im connected to a wap site or a html site? I have two data accounts on the phone, orange gprs and orange.net(gprs) and the phone is set to use orange gprs for both wap and internet. The guy i spoke to told me that i have to connect to the orange world wap site first as this tells the network im on wap then i am free to go on any wap site i like and i wont be charged (access plan). is this correct?
Sorry if this is a bit long winded but i am confused. Surely there must be some way of telling if you are on wap of html

Thanks in advance - kev

There are different settings for GPRS for the internet and for WAP. You can see the seetings here http://www.filesaveas.com/gprs.html
If you select the WAP connection as you preferred when starting the Internet app on the Pxxx you know you are only using WAP.

I had orange acces/share on my p800 and it worked like this: i could view all sites(wap and html) on the normal wapaccount for free(only the monthly fee) the internetaccount(which i had to pay for) was only for things like msn. So if it goes the same with you,you dont have to switch accounts. And i could start on every page,no need to start on the orange page. This message was posted from a WAP device
