Yes, i know you will proberbly flame me for gettin a p800 when the p900 is out but i cant afford the p900 and i got the p800 on ebay for £175, I have had a littly play around with it but only to check if it works.

So, whats good about in your point of view.

P.S. Is strategic commander any good and can you name some good games for it, free or not.

Why to flame? P800 will probably become the best Christmas present in your life! Anyway it is the best prestigious phone on the market from the point of price/quality/usability. We all are sad it's price had decreased in the last months because of the P900's release but anyway it's better you have one advance smartfone for little money for now and decide if you really need all it's functions before buying the same one in the new case and with a pair of colurs more display for $900. So after the New Year the price of P900 will decrease and than you'll see if you need it...

There is one topic topic about applications already but if you like...

Tracker 2.00 or 3.02 (with skins; for this one you'll need to install TaskMan 1.00 and FileMan 1.00) - both can be found an http://www.symbianware.com - a really useful application for managing your P800;

Default games from the Multimadia CD are not as bad as they say but you really should try EDoom 1.01 (good old Doom), Metal Blaster Episode I and they say TAG 2.00 is a good strategic game too. Also try DopeWars (only beta 0.3 is avaliable). If you like strategy games try Strategic Assault with the Forest Fire add-on. All of them you can get from http://my-symbian.com.

By the way if you want you can try to run the V-Rally game with comes with P900 to see that there is no difference between there powers exept a better screen (you'll get 'freaky disco colors', pretty ugly so I wouldn't do that). Grab it from http://my-symbian.com too.

Still the video recording application is uder development (we prefer to think that way...) you can try to search for the CamCoder beta 1.00 video recording application on the web but it provides really crappy quality and you should kill it's process using some tasks manager (e.g. TaskMan 1.00, SMan 1.02) because it drains battery...

You should be happy with your P800
Even without camcorder and 16bit screen it has advances.
Screen is lighter outside and software is much more compatible
up to now.

So enjoy and do not feel unhappy, P800 is nearly the same...
