Hi
I had to sell off my P900. The Z200 was launched today and I bought one a few hours ago. The Z200’s beauty is ONLY SKIN DEEP. IMO its the most low featured/minimalist colour screen phone from till date. The looks are great, the feel excellent but the features are disappointing. In fact, it even has lesser features than the T230, like no MMS for example.

Here’s what I found…

The good…
1. Great finish and feel.
2. Light weight.
3. Themes load very fast.
4. Display better than Nokia Series 40 phones featuring 128x128 4096 col. Display
5. T9 SMS quite fast
6. Good ringtones
6. Overall a typically features phone
7. External screen shows full caller-id with number as well as indication of missed call, new msg etc.

The bad…
1. No proper indication of memory used/free in terms of KB etc., just shows indicators like “Wallpapers 15/16” or “Ringtones 15/16” (implying only 1 space left in each case)…
2. Apparently no new games can be added
3. No email
4. Cannot change font size in menu display
edit: Battery is 670 mah only

The ugly…
1. Phonebook capacity on 200
2. No Outlook/PC sync support
3. No MMS

Looks like went the Nokia way while making the Z200. In any case, its still a good phone, in fact one the best designed and coolest phones EVER.

Agree but you know what it has so ... it's a shame that it's a very low end phone as the design is wonderfull ... shame

Never been too keen on the Z200's looks, myself! I had a play with one in a shop once though, I agree that the build quality and finish is excellent.

Went for a T610 in the end though

@masseur:
Couldn't help. A HUGE financial burden came right out of the blue. Had only 3 days to pay it off. In fact, IMO, I sold my P900 for a pittance.

On the other hand, I can now save up get the P980/P1010/T650 or maybe the X666

ac, I can't believe you would purchase a phone without knwoing it's features.

Now you ahd a P900 which is currently 's falgship model.

How can you switch to Z200, clearly marketed as a low-end model, no-frills?

And then you come and complain?

I dunno... but maybe you should've done a bit more research?

It's a lovely phone! I recommend it to all my friends. Myself I have a P800 and a T610. But they are not as interested in mobiles as I am.

Its a pity that it doesn't have MMS/Mophun, then it would be a great phone
