Is it possible to edit the menu when its in flip-open mode? i want to keep it as it is but remove/rename/move some icons around.

Is it possible?

What you can do is the following:
To the right in open mode you have an text saying "all" (if the translation is right), klick here than choose "edit folders". than choose ad a folder. In this new folder you create the icons that you want in your menu. Finnaly you select that folder to be shown in open flip.

However you can not change the name of the icons. Mr. Sweet and Pimp800 (I think his name is) have created some new icons and a way to install them. For that you will have to use the search eginge.

Can't it be as simple as overwriting the existed PNG files with a new ones that you can create by yourself? AFAIK, the PNG files are located in the Z drive (ROM drive, hidden). CMIIW.

I do what @lucas says, i have set up a folder called "my all" & just put the ones i use most in there.

But if you dont want to limit the icons on show, some 'moving around' can be achieved by setting the apps into Games, tools ETC as you will find this will move/regroup some apps.tthis is done by tapping on "applications" then "set folders".
