> Z600 Battery Meter Discrepancies

last night i left my phone on charge all night (9 hours), and today the internal display shows a completely full battery while the external display shows it is only 3/4 full. the past few days the internal meter has also jumped around a little - once from around 1/3 to just above half full (enough to change the colour from yellow to green), and once from ~10% (red) to ~20% (yellow). each time the lower of the two readings occurred after using a battery intensive function (minigolf and a call respectively) and a little later the higher reading came a short while later.
is this just a firmware issue, which display is correct, and has anyone else experienced this?
TIA

well, i know that on my t68, when you do a lot of battery intensive stuff like sending a lot of consecutive SMS msgs or WAP surfing the number of hours indicated in the phone status dips a bit, then comes back up a little bit later. turning the phone off and on increases indicated hours too. my p800 doesn't seem to suffer the same thing tho...

I've noticed that the battery indicator has increased sometimes with my Z600, though I've not noticed a discrepancy between the internal and external displays.
My old nokia 3330 used to do the increasing battery level as well, sometimes.

No discrepancies here between the displays either. Battery indicator does vary a bit, going up sometimes after first decreasing after heavy use.

just an update. now that a couple of days have passed the internal meter has caught up to the external one and they are now dropping together.
i don't suppose anyone has any theories on what happened? (i should add that when i pulled it off the charger i immediately viewed a text and retrieved a voicemail)
i'll see what happens on the next charge.

update no.2 - after a full recharge on the weekend the two displays are now in sync. maybe it was just a temporary bug. any ideas anyone???

@gelfen, i had the same discrepancy on mine...i switched it off, then it went back to normal...i'd want to what made that do it aswell, otherwise my z600 is alright.

Is not a discrepancy (spell?) but a temperature matter, the battery meter's use the Ambient Temp and the Battery Temp and combined with the mA's of the battery, you get the aproximate charge of said battery, don't worry, it's just a matter of how cold (will show a lower quantity) the ambient is or viceversa.
If you got to fMA's screenshots, you will see a temperature meter...
I hope that clears this.
