Could someone with a unbranded P900 who has used
the update service please post there firmwere on here.
its in program files/ sony ericsson/ updateservice/
software-data.
I need this to fix my phone that wasnt flashed
properly.
I think this can also be used to flash orange phones
useing the recovery mode so it would be of use to
a lot of people on here.

Didn't you post something similar along these lines not that long ago? What information did you gather from those earlier posts that would allow you to state that swapping cdas allowed Orange modified P900 to be flashed via the online update? I know you didn't get that information from here because it never existed and was never possible.
I think this thread is gonna be really rough the second time around....

No it will work, I have the right CDA number
now in my phone and if someone posts there
F/W I can fix it. When you do a update it stores
the firmware in that folder and if the update fails and
you use the recovery mode it will use the
software in that folder to flash the phone
even if the phone no longer works.
So it might also be a way for orange
users to flash there phones.
I really really need the F/W as my phone no
longer works properly.

I don't need the CDA number what I need is the
F/W from someone who has used the update
service to upgrade a unbranded P900.
If thay have used the update service
thay will have the F/W stored in this folder on there
PC go to: program files/sonyericsson/update service/
software-data. I need all the files in that folder.
Please could someone help me I don't want to send my
phone away to be repaired.

Nobody is helping you out because again for the umpteenth time it is NOT POSSIBLE....You have to realize that you are the only saying it has worked. Despite the engineers/hackers that have tried and understand why it would not work you seem to still be stuck on the idea. If you say it did work then why don't you ask that one person that made it work to help you out.. However, I don't think you'll find that person because they don't exist. Just do the right thing and go through your carrier. That's what you're paying them for anyway.

Look I took my phone to be flashed but it didnt
work right but it DID change the CDA number
I now have 162003/8 R2A10 in my phone now.
so the update service now thinks I have a normal
phone.
But because the phone wasn't flashed right
the update service no longer finds my phone.
But it WILL update it useing the recovery
mode.
So if some posted there F/W I could put
it into the software-data folder on my PC
and use the recovery mode to flash it to my phone.
Im not messing about with CDA numbers here I just need
the F/W to fix it.

Why not just run recovery mode and that's it? You appear to ask for this F/W to use with the online updater, but It doesn't seem like you've tried to use the updater at all. Why not run the updater and see what happens. Moreover, you are asking for a file that the online server dumps to your PC any way. So run the dang online update already before you keep tearing your hair out without having even tried certain steps yet.
