Well I was a bit dissapointed in the p900 calender since it only included meeting, reminder and holiday.

so is there a good addon for the calender? things like birthdays anniversarys.. (where u can enter the persons birthday and it reminds me how old he is, every year)

or is there a better calender alternativ?

you can also try smart dates and date mate. I'm using smart dates because I couldn't get handy date 2 to import contacts with birthday field. (I had handy dates 1 prevously and it worked fine until I upgraded. anyone else had the same problem?)

birthday manager, that is what i use tho it is a java app and doesn't integrate with the cal feature instead it picks the contact info from your phone book

No it is essentially as it says a birthday manager.
I'm not too sure on what you are after but with my p1 i have the calender feature for everything (work, reminders, appointments etc) bar the birthdays. For the birthdays i use birthday manager.

What you do is load up the information in your contact details i.e. if you have a mate Fred, and his birthday is 12/12/67 all you do is enter the birthday details his entry in your phone book.
Then you run birthday manager which will load all entries from the phonebook and will update with their birthday telling you how long until his birthday, his age, starsign, how old he will be next year etc...

It will also ask if you want to enter these details into the calender application if you choose to do this it will load up the default calender application and will enter the details for you all you need to do is set and alarm time.

To be fair this is the best solution i have found since moving on from my Nokia 3510. No other phone i have come across has this feature i.e. allowing you to enter birthdays and the year of birth telling you how old they will be etc...This may seem silly but this is one feature i do miss the most from the Nokia, i am not sure if current nokia handsets still have this feature or not. But since i have the p1 for now this program is very important to me.

My only problem with it apart from being a java program is that the application will only load the birthday details from your contacts. So if you already have several calender entries then you are not going to be able to import these.

Hope that helps.
