> pc p800 sync problems (help!)

hi, need some help. i have just got a cheap 2nd hand p800. installed pc suite however when the phone monitor wizard comes up everything goes wrong. when it asks to give the phone a name, i try every name, words and letters under the sun but i get the message, this name already exists.
can some bright spark tell me what i am doing wrong?

It is a tough one, mate. I would first try out the search like Obi Universal Exports Kanobi suggests. I do think that your problem is more with the configuration. If you are using the IR you should check out the speed between the two (mobile and the PC). But if you are not, I suggest you start with downloading the new PC Suite 2.1.0 and do a master reset on your phone (you will find it in the control panel). There after I would check out if the COM Ports are right set.
If that does not work, try disconnecting your firewall, if you have one. For example ZoneAlarm is famous for interfering with the sync. If you had a SE phone before and software from that phone installed in your PC I would take it out. The software from syncing with T68 can also interrupt your connection.
Are you actually using the correct program? I have to ask, since my program never asked me to "name" my phone. The last time a program did this was when I was having my T68i and its programs.
