Here in canada i can get them both for $25 with Fido.

Question: Which one is better?

definitely the siemens m55. IMO

reasons
you can unlock it for free with a data cable, the screen is a bit better. free games too.(if you knwo where to look) the 4k sucks but it's better than the 256. i think it looks better. (t310 deordant stick) both have cam attachments. you cna do you own firmware upgrades
rf on the m55 will be better in Canada. softwrae is a little faster

t310 is ok the irda is better than cable. rf is terrible (again 1900 mhz)
the joysitck is better than the m55 direction pad.
morphun games are hit/miss i think.

but both are basically the same phone different makers.
ringers are about the same. m55 is louder i think
both are highly customizable (wallpaper, screensavers, themes... the se themes are a bit better though)

i woudl choosoe the m55

yes it does - and it has 1.6mb memory - but no IR and only 16voices polytones.

T310 has IR and 32voices polytones

I thought the T310 had 24 voice polys like the T300. And id go 4 the T310 as it is SE and you can usually trust SE, although i did have probs with T68i This message was posted from a T610

You have most likely chosen the phone you want to get by now but neway, i would reccommed the T310. Both phones have and array of feature but seimens have got a dodjy support centre unlike SE.
