> Believe it or not...T68 is water resistant!!!
Bookmark topic
Hi folks,
Just want to share with you of my latest discovery.
Last weekend, I foolishly forgot to remove my T68 from my pant's before putting it into the washing machine.
The worst thing is that, my poor T68 underwent 1hr of machine wash, rinse and dry without me realising it. I only realised it when I was hanging my pants.
By then, the phone was off and the internal screen was flooded with water....just like a fish tank.
I was totally despaired.....in desperation, I quickly removed the battery and started to dismantle the phone. I could notice dried soap powder around the LEDs and few of the resistors. I took a mineral water and a soft toothbrush and started to clean the PCBs and the LCD screen. Anxiously, I left the phone to dry in open air for 3 days.
But guess what, thinking that the phone was a goner, it lighted up when I pressed the ON button. The phone memory and settings remained unchanged!!...except for the time. All functions work as per normal. Only then, I started to thank myself to own such a durable phone, the mighty T68...
