....speeding up texting? Compared to a Nokia, entering text into a message is SO slow. Ok, the phone does catch up with you (eventually), but it's quite painful. Does the latest software version make a difference? A guy in the CPWH told me that emptying your inbox, and sent folders quickens things up cos it frees up memory. I guess that not having a background may also help?
Anyone got any tips or thoughts?

turn off languages you dont use... and wait for the r2b025 (t68i conversion) that will make all your problems go away

Something else I noticed with text....
If you "teach" it a word, it offers it to you even before you've typed it.
Let's say I taught it "duck" !!!
and then taught it the word "ducking"
if I type "duck" it looks like this "duck ing". If I type space, or move the joystick right, it attaches the "ing" on the end of "duck". This is a pain, cos I don't want it to. Anyone else noticed this?
If you've no idea, replace the "d" for and "f" in the above example. Teach it both words then try and get it to type "*uck" instead of "*ucking"
