I hope this offends everyone, but it seems that the p900 has become somewhat... lowbrow. Ive noticed a lot of noobs joining here, armed with a brand new p900 and shooting off stupid comments and questions all over the place. My theory is that the cheap prices, (o2 and orange) combined with the fact that the p900 actually looks good, has made this otherwise sophisticated device appeal to the average joe who just staggered into the phone shop off the high street. You know who i mean, the type of schmoe who is normally content with some mid range samsung or nokia that "takes pictures". Has the successor of our sophisticated, elegant, powerfully functional p800 become a cheap sellout and thrown to the dogs to be used, abused and tossed into the gutter like a nokia?

On the other hand, lots of P900 sales means lots of money to

and hence even better things to come, heres to the future!
although I also hate seeing a moron with a P800 who clearly has no idea of its capabilities (usually with flip still attached also!). I've not actually seen a P900 in the streets yet.

I like havin flip attatched, its convenient for me (quick lock and screen protection cos my pockets are full of junk, actually ill start another thread about that....) but thats another story.

The P900 flip is more acceptable & actually looks quite good but P800 flip make the phone look much bigger, uglier & cheaper. It looks soooo cool without!
I never put anythin in my 'phone pocket', my P800 lives there alone!
PS I call it Pocket Dwelling Fury
(quite off-topic now!)

I've not seen anyone else with it either but maybe people don't really tend to use it that much in the way a Blokia or regular small phone would be used.
I send a lot of texts and I guess you could say I'm one of the riff-raff.
I keep the flip on cause it looks good with it on and is good for texting.
I use the MP3 functionality and the video for show off purposes.
I use some of the diary functions but its just a new fancy gadget that I like to show off
I suppose I'm quite laxidaisical with mine I will text with it whilst walking through a busy shopping center.
Was doing this the other day when two rude-boys walked past staring blatantly at my phone and one said.
"That'd get mooooo-ved!"
I think bredrin nowadays be going country instead of street ya heard me!?
Thing was they were both skinny so they just carried on walking and loking back at me.
I don't think we're in any danger of it becoming another 3310 but maybe the amount of users it has may encourage SE to maybe do things it wasn't going to... I.e try and make it use Duo Pros etc.
*SHRUGS*
Errr... what was the point of this thread again... I lost it somewhere.
