I have tried to setup my laptop to use the P900 as modem over bluetooth, but when i want to setup the modem it isent showing the com12 as the P900 is connected to.

I am using "Level One" a little device for usb. I had it woorking on my P800, but i had also problems makin it work back then.

Sorry, can't help you.

I use a Anycom bluetooth dongle and it works fine. No problems en cheap.

I did a search on using P900 as modem using BT, i find this but there was not a valid answer.

would someone explain how to do this. do i just enter my ISP number, account number and password as if i am using a regular landline?

there should be an option to find the services on your device, then for dial-up networking. Its then the same as fixed ine set-up. Enter number, username 7 password & it should work.

i can enter the same number, username & password for my modem for the BT setting and give it a shot.

k theres two ways to get online. took me a while to get the hang of it.
thru gprs dial **9***2# no sn and pwd and it shud work. otherwise its usual number andinfo.
the way i like to think of it is make sure ur conected be it bt or serial so long as u were able to see it. make sure its setto modem on serial and thats it!
