Put the disk in. Click on programs. Then Run, and type start.exe Then ok, should find the drivers you want. In that list you wrote, there was only 1 system file. The .sis file, but i assume by the name of it that its another help file. This message was posted from a T610

Hi !
I'd like send SMS from my notebook with Ericson T68 via infrared. I have a Borland Delphi 5 component for sending/receiving SMS, under Windows 2000 but it requires the COM port number for connecting.
The infra connection is living but how could I know the COM port number, and what else can I do for the success ?

Please HELP !
Thanks.

Look for the COM port under Device Manager -> Ports

Thanks for Device Manager ! It works ! (COM4)

But I have a next problem. I can send only one SMS. The software cannot send the second one.
I have to disable the IR connection in the phone, than turn it back again and than I can send the next SMS.
I design an auto sending system, so it is a big problem.

thanks for your help in advance.

That appears to be a programming issue on your part. Maybe your program is trying to open the port every time, even though the port is already open? Just a thought.

i ran into a similar problem when installing my IR dongle on WinXP. all i did was delete the device from my hardware manager, then reboot. when it came back it was installed just fine.
