Do anybody know how to send ringtones or background images from a laptop's Ir port to the ericsson T68? What software do I need? I have already installed the Ericsson Mobile Monitor software but no results!!

Ring tones via Ericsson Phone Settings ver 3.1.5.2, Images via MyPictures ver R2E. Search this site for many discussions about IrDA issues.

The speed of the IR need to be 9600 kbps.
(SIR connection)
Check the CONTROLPANEL in windows.
Images must be GIF up to 8 kb (8000 bytes).
Melodies in EMY.format.
(the IR-modem-drivers are by the way only used when you want to use the T-68 as modem with a e.g. laptop)
You do not need these if you only want to transfer pictures and melodies.
