I was told by another person who has the T610 that when she sends a text and puts a number in from her phonebook it doesn't send but it still takes her money, but when she writes the number in manually then it sends. Has anyone else had this problem.

p.s how do i know when i get a pm

If you get a PM it'll say you've got a PM in the top right corner of your window.

As for sending SMS, i've never heard of this. I can enter all numbers from my phonebook and they will all receive the sms fine. Tell your friend to switch on the 'delivery report' to see if that is really true.

[edit] oh yeah.... it might better to change the title of your topic to reflect the actual question. [/edit]

when you get a pm there should be red text saying you have 1 pm at the top of the page, (where private messages is)

Hope this helps

Hmm... 'red' text only applies to those who use the standard english forum layout. I use the Dutch layout and the text is not red.

I use russian layout and there isn't anything that says about new pm's, so i need to check it myself, or i'll switch the layout. Life consists of things, that must be switched. :-D This message was posted from a T310

I was using a prepaid card the last few days because I'm contract free at the moment and I've had this happen with my P800 in two instances the last few days. It states : "message sending failed, message stored in outbox". I can personally confirm that money was withdrawn from the prepaid account even when the message was clearly not sent.

I don't know if it was a network error or a phone error but I've never had a problem like this before.

Hey, I think i have a similar problem if not same. The thing is sometimes after i press "send", it takes sometime( the small bar keeps bouncing frm left to right) and then it says "sending failed, saved in unsent items". But as u told it happens only sometimes, irrespective of wether i choose the number from phonebook or type it in. I am sure its not the network problem, coz i have a sendo(s200) which sends the message with out a hiccup at the same time.

Strange enuff, but sometimes i keep pressing "send" again and again, then I get a messsage from the recepeint saying "Y do u keep sending the same msg again and again", that means the msg had already reached the person but i get the it as "sending failed". might be some bug!!

So any solutions?
