Hello, the "BluetoothCar" MIDP2 application for P900 as well as the "CAR-100 Controller" C++ application for P800 and P900 were both released to end users on Friday !
The ''BluetoothCar'' MIDP 2.0 application makes use of the JSR-82 Bluetooth API to steer the Sony Ericsson "CAR-100" ('
Bluetooth Car' phone accessory) and can be used with the P900.
You start installation on P900 by opening the signed JAD file and follow instructions. The MIDlet becomes installed as trusted and will work on all P900 software versions. A PDF document is included that explains how to install the MIDlet and get going with the CAR-100.
The ''CAR-100 Controller'' is a SymbianOS C++ application that put you in the drivers seat of the CAR-100 'Bluetooth Car' accessory using the P800 or P900 Smartphone. This now brings the joy of CAR-100 to P800 owners as well.
As an optional demo hint, type this URL into the Internet application on P800 or P900 for the cool experience of direct SIS install over the air :
http://sonyericsson.com/downloads/CAR100.sis
You can forward that link to other P800/900 owners over SMS and they can then click on the link in the message to download their copy.
Have fun !

its a 10metre range cos its bluetooth, if thats what you mean.
Thats the control screen you get. Theres a little setup menu thing you have to go thru aswell. Theres a menu option on the software to put the phone in "Available" so when the car sends its hello messages to the phone, the software will pick them up so you can use the car
has force feedback too
