Hi Friends:
Recently, I bought a new SE-P800 and I installed the new PC-Suite 2.11 and my computer has Windows XP with 2 USB ports and 1 COM port. Here is the situation
In Device Manager:
Ports (COM & LPT)
- SEMC DSS-20 SyncStation (COM3)
Universal Serial Bus controllers
- SEMC DSS-20 SyncStation
PC-Suite Phone Connection Link:
- Connection/Cable COM Port/COM1
- Connection/USB COM Port/COM3
Why does USB Port have a COM3 Port?...I have my internet-modem over COM1 and when I try to synchronize...have problems with my internet-modem....Can you help me?

a com port is on from which the pc communicates with other devices.the usb card is also attached to com port.in your case it is attached to com3 .whereas in my case it is attached to com4.anyways congrats for ur new p800.any applications needed just mail me
