I have a midi sound file which i saved on p800. I dont know whats the problem but when i play the file the phone takes around 2 minutes to read the file and play the tone.
also when i set it as a ringtone , wen my phone rings it first vibrates for 6 rings and then the tone starts!!
y is the phone so slow with midi files this dsnt happen with any other format ....??
can some1 please tell me wat the problme is?

are you sure the midi is not silent for that amount of time as it was silent both when you tried to play it and when somebody rang you... just an idea

it works fine wen i try playin it on my PC thru winamp.... and actually its not silent wen i try playin it on p800 , it reads the file aftera along time...after that it plays fine.... but since the main use is as a ringtone it starts the tone after 6 rings ...by then the caller usually cuts the line....!!

Try to edit it with a midi editor on ur pc..thats the only way.

hey cummon guys it was ringtone in T 610 SE ...i took it frm there, don tel that my p800 in inferior than t610 in that department!!!
how do i edit it? and what do i edit thru pc?
