OK I may be missing something really obvious but when I upload mp3s from the PC to the Memory Stick via the card reader (to directory: Media filesaudioUnfiled) they cannot be read by music player (but play fine in File Manager). When I upload via the cradle, they read fine in music player but it's very s-l-o-w to upload this way. I've tried re-formatting the memory stick but to no avail. A search on this topic left me none the wiser. Help. . . please . .
PS Can't get my bluetooth dongle (TDK) to work properly either, but that's another story!
OK, *slightly* embarrassed to be answering my own query, but I *had* missed something obvious. The file properties were marked as 'hidden' - so if anyone else is as stupid as me - there's your cause (not of the stupidity, just the files not being visible).
Now about this bloody bluetooth thing (he says, trying to change the subject) . . .

Can you say a bit more about the following:
1. Assume you formatted the Duo using the Pxxx
2. What MP3 player do you use on your PC - I am wondering if there is a file association / property issue when you tranfer using the MS card reader/writer. Do the files have .mp3 extensions (and not ".mp3.mp3")
4. Are you using Qfileman or Symbianware's File Manager? If so what information can you obtain about the MP3s that are not recognised by the Pxxx audio player.
EDIT: saw that you resolved the MP3 issue.
BT - again can you say a bit more please; like:
1. Have you managed to bond the P900 with you PC?
2. Do you have the option for a serial BT connection with your BT s/w?
