Dear all,

as the title suggests I would like to use the Psion's email client and web browsing facilities via my P800.

I can get it to work in "dial-up" mode only as a web-browser. I cannot get the email facility to work nor the GPRS.

I know it's "old" technology but I rate the 5MX as the most complete PDA/small computer I have ever had and having VERY nearly bought an Sony UX50 (generally poor reviews on design / battery / price put me off) I decided that the money would be better spent on a P900 and make better use of my Psion for report-writing etc.

Can anybody help me?

Santa's promised to chip-in to the P900..

Anyone?....

use www.symbian.info and their international forum... they have experience with alle Symbian/Psion devices.

sorry this post is of no help, but i to have a 5mx and been thought everything to find it's the best....spell check, theasarus, keyboard, etc,
and hoping the p900 will replace my ol' psion.

if you have any comments on this, please post!

Have you seen the open source Pxxx driver for the Pocketop at www.my-symbian.com?

Regarding your latest experiment here are some setting I found for the Psion. I have tried something similar a while ago with the Ericsson MC218 and Ericsson T39. Hope this helps. Have a look here http://home.clara.net/m-mcconnell/Gprs.htm
