Okay guys - I'm badly in need of assistance. My girlfriend's boss stuffed all kinds of things into his P800 and obviously he now receives a memory full error and the phone shuts down/reboots. I will give you more details when the phone is in my possession. The question is if there is anything that I can do. I remember that in older threads there was consent that this issue could only be solved in a SE service center. So - can I do anything or do I have to take it in for repairs?

judge man why you didn't ask me first? ! Is simple,no need to service center! The phone must be with flip on,then remove SIM,power on the phone(flip closed-important),and when asks for sim just enter secret menu using flip buttons and jogdial! Then select format internal drive...and that's it! It will loose all data...Secret menu is jogdial up * jogdialdown jogdialdown * jogdialdown * ! Hope this helps and works! If not try with SIM in the phone! But should work fine with sim removed.Good luck man!

Thanks, guys! Petrut, I completely forgot that you and Bogdan have P800. I'll send you a PM when go online. So there's no chance in hell to get some data back, huh? Bummer... This message was posted from a T310

If you really have a full P800 there is no need for a format (master reset).
When you start the P800 flip open it should say that your P800 memory is full, then if all goes right it should ask if he can delete some files to free memory.
Then one by one it will show you a file and ask you if it can be deleted, just as long until there is enough memory freed to boot normally.
Then you have to go and look if there are programs that can be uninstalled to free up more memory.
Make sure there is always at least 1,5mb of free memory on the P800's C: drive, to be save keep a gap of 4mb and make sure that the owner checks this from time to time.
Smash this in to his brain it will prevent allot of frustration.

note: if this option fails then try the master reset

Unfortunately I'm unable to delete because the moron left on his phone - hear this - 0.1 MB free. So the phone is trying to delete the files, claims it has done that, then freezes with a Disk Full error. Can it synch in that state (I seriously doubt that)? And if so, can I use the DRS-11 (even more doubtful)? This message was posted from a T310

Just keep on trying, it should work eventually
Keep on deleting until it does work, it’s your best chance to save data.

Almost had it recognized using the DRS-11 - mRouter says connecting, but it doesn't get any further. Oh, well, I'll just keep trying a couple of times - the night is still young... Thanks for the support, guys! If you have any other ideas, I'm quite willing to try them out. This message was posted from a T310

I think that I'm fresh out of ideas... sorry, I still think the delete option would be the best one to go with
