i have already installed the pc suite to my computer with an xp operating system and connected the cradle via usb and the phone is placed on it but the computer does not seem to recognize the phone. could you pls. help me since i need to back up my files and install some programs. ty

u didnt tell which phone u have.anyways check in ur phone that the cable mode is set to "pc connect" not "modem".also check the symbol that comes at the startup of windows in the right corner.its like an arrow with two heads.double clik on it and check whether the usb port is activated.may this solve ur problem as i had the same one two months back.
