OK here is the scoop!
I have a unlocked T610 from T-mobile using it on rogers in canada.
I just got it flashed to the latest software...
then right after the upgrade, i noticed my camera doesn't work, if i press the WAP button everything freezes, and load time for menu's is LONG, and finally the phone doesn't turn off

So i went back and the guy put back the original firmware from SE but i still have the same problems...anyone know why? and how i can fix it???
thanks
Jon

Sounds like a warranty issue. Go to the store where you bought it and get it repaired or get a new phone.

There are service centres in Canada, possibly one in Montreal (since they do have an internal service depot there).

You call the SE support line and they will take care of you, provided the phone is still less than 14 months old, or so, as per the warranty label. When you send it in, you do want to make a note that the phone is unlocked, in case they give you a locked replacement unit.

Hope you got the warranty paper. If not....Then you just tell them that you lost it and that the phone have to be less than 14months old because the t610 came out in mai and that is only seven months, so the warranty will still be there. It worked for me with my last phone.

well, international warranty technically does not apply in North America (as oppsoed to Europe), so it's a bit different.

I think if the phone was working when u went to upgrade,it's their fault to break it. This message was posted from a T610

The service provider dont take anny responsobility for broken phones or lost stuff on your phone during an uppgrade.

this is what i was told

the software conflicted during the upgrade because when the phone was unlocked it was done the wrong way...so now its like my phone has a virus which is messing things up...

does that make any sense to you guys?

the person who did it said that others have experiences the same problems and it is fixable...
il let you guys know later this week!
