Seasons greetings to you all....
I don't appear to be getting any status messages for text messages I send - they all remain as "Message Pending".
Does anybody know if this is this a known problem with either the Z600 firmware or O2 as a service provider... or maybe just my phone / connection?
Many thanks....
Sculli

I think you need to 'switch on' delivery reports in 'options' first.
It's not the Z600 fw I can tell you, cioz mine works fine.

Mmm....
"Delivery reports" is indeed switched on. I can only assume it must be an O2 thing, although why they wouldn't provide such a basic network service that all other providers do is a bit puzzling.
It's not desperate, but sometimes it's handy to know when messages have been delivered.

Hi, o2 uk doesn't support message delivery in the normal way but you can get it by typing *0# at the start of message with the setting in the menu switched OFF, hope this helps

Heya, I always had a o2 uk phone before I switched to orange. It isn't a fault on the z600 because I had a 3310 on o2 and message reports didn't work on that either but they worked on a friends who was on voda. So I think its o2 fault and not your z600's.

O2 don't give the text msg status. If you want the facility, before the 1st word in any msg, type the code *0# and you'll get a delivery report. I find it useful saving the code in my templates.
