Got a P900 yesterday (02) and only played with it for the 1st time today, so I'm prepared to accept this may be something I'm going....
But here's the problem:
(Note, I have installed nothing on the P900. Only the stuff it comes with and I have plugged in and formatted the supplied memory card.)
Go to Control Panel
Under Device, go to Application Shortcuts
Then program closes
Program Control panel
Reason Code USER
Reason Number 130
Anyone know why it's doing this?

I've not seen this before. But try the following:
1. Re-boot your phone and try the Application Shortcuts optpion again. If if still get a problem try the following.
2. Move all the free SE stuff (ring tones, video, pictures etc) to the Duo card
3. From the Control Panel select Master Reset. If after this you still have the problem, try the next step.
4. Use the Service Menu (turn jog dial up ,*,down, down,*,down,* ) and select the Format internal drive option (warning: this will remove all the data on c: drive.
My theory is that you have some corrupt memory and these actions may rectify this. As I said I have not seen this particular error myself but it does sound like a memory fault. If you are uncertain wait until there are few more responses.
Edit: if this problem is not data / memory related then the next option is to use the online firmware upgrade service to reload the system software on to your P900. But lets see what results you get first.

Thanks Jah......
Someone else suggested set-starting / re-booting the phone.
How do you do that ? (only just got it)
Don't really know how to move the stuff around like you suggest either, but someone also did suggest the update firmware option as you did.
Do you loose anything if you do this ?

Okay so you are really new to the P900.
First get a copy of a proper file manager for the P900 from here
http://www.symbianware.com/index.php?pl=se_p900 (called File Man)
I assume you have PC Suite set-up to allow you to install this. If not you should be able to use the Internet app on your P900 to download the fileman.sis file - I think it should install automatically after download.
Use this to look around your c: and d: drive. You will see that the 'c:documentsmedia files' directory is where all the data is stored. You need to move (fileman has a move function) this data to the d: drive (I assume you have formatted the d: drive (Duo) using the P900?). The rest of the data can be backed-up using PC Suite (ie Agenda, Jotter, Calender etc). Once you have move the data and backed-up you should be in a position to try the reset or re-format the c: drive. Now if the P900 is totally new you will probably not have any PDA data stored on it.
Let us know which steps you are comfortable with and which ones you need more help with.

Thank's again for your help & advice.
Just to let you know.. I did a soft reset and the problem has gone.
Just for the hell of it, and as I had not put anything on the phone yet apart from a little mess around. I also did a hard reset. which took all the pics, music, demo's off the phone as well.
All that WAS on the phone is on the supplied CD anyway, so at least I now have a clean P900 with no issues.
I'll get a copy of that file manager you mentioned anyway.
Any other essential (small) apps that are must haves for the P900 ?
Cheers.

Well done - I see are taking those small steps to fully exploit the potential of the P900.
Re: essential apps. There are lots of threads on this. Have a look at this one about the p900.
