Just wondering if i format my P900 will i be able to update my firmware as i think i will loose the CDA information...

im on Orange & have formated the "C" drive & done a factory reset cus i was having a few prob's with some third party software

did it then did a restore from a saved backup & it all works fine

do it dont be a pussy

all your customised firmware is on drive A you wont get rid of it that easily. Its there to stay dont worry.

Formating only wipes the 'C' drive.
I don't know for sure but I think I read somewhere on here that the info u mean is on one of the ROMs 'A' or 'Z'. So if that is the case formating will not prevent u from updating f/w online.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

ok i took the risk of formatting after a back and well lokky here:
I gained more memory!!! only 1.5mb in use after format in comparison to 9mb in use before format
CDA is still there! this used to dissapear if you formatted a P800.
i strongly suggest a format if you can....
