I got my p800 for christmas and was very happy. i then decided to connect it to my win98 laptop. then i uploaded the sync station drivers it all worked from the pc suite cd. i then plugged everything in, and the light turned on when i put my p800 in the sync station so the connections ok. When i tried to install the pc suite i had to download dcom98 which i did and it all worked. i had to restart my computer. afterwards it siad updating system settings and something like synstation setting was meant to automactically come up (capabilities manager real name) but instead it said "internal error 411 could not open capabilities manager. please restart if problem persists reinstall." i restarted and reinstalled 5 times and it wont work. i cannot be bothered to use the crappy infrared all the time so help!!!

i tried opening it up manually but nothing happens. i had the pc suite installed and the phone in and it could not detect the phone. help!!!

There actually have been very lot of questions about cradel not recognising the P800.

and you'll probably find the answer.
