> My p800 disk full crashed DEAD Help :(
Bookmark topic
Hi,
My p800 has decided to finally give up the ghost.
Ive read all these forums about memory managment and i to be honest id wish id read them when i got the phone.
My phone, when switched on, vibrates, the intro screen is played, and then nothing! Thats it. I cant reset because theres not button, only combinations of keys, and because the phone doesnt start, the touchscreen doesnt work.
Anyone know anything about this problem? Would appriciate it if somebody could help.
Cheers
Harry

Remove the SIM card and re-start the phone. If you get as far as the phone giving you a SIM error then you can access the service menu using the usual jog dial and "*" sequences.

You have experienced the ever so famous overload syndrome. Only one thing to do mate; take it to a service point and upgrade the software. Everything in the phone will be lost but bettest that than a knackered phone.

oh yeh, and one more thing...
when restoring the backup, what does this actually restore?
phone numbers?
pictures?
personal data?
applications?
Cheers
