This has probably been asked before but I couldn't find it.

How exactly do you install an application on the P900, for example OggPlayer? Is it downloaded straight onto the phone or to the pc first and then to the phone? I have seen many posts about applications and I assume this must be obvious to most of you but a simple explanation would be appreciated.

Cheers,

James

If you have PC Suite installed on your Windows-based PC then you only need to connect the device (via Bluetooth, IR or Syncstation) then double click on the application (it must have .sis extension) and follow the instructions.

Another way is simply sending the .sis file via Bluetooth or IR from any other device or PC and then open it... the install process will begin.

Yeah, download the sis directly to your phone and make your operator happy.
GPRS is expensive, you know?

Use infrared or bluetooth to beam the sis
file and opening the file at the messaging
application would start the installer.
happy installing, seasons greetings!

hey buddy

every application comes with an SIS extension , and believe me it is much safer if you can run it and use the application via the syncstation that is with the PC suite installed on you PC. hope this helps you

Cheers ansi
