> soundcrackleproblem with microphone!
Bookmark topic
I have a soundcrackleproblem with the microphone on my T610. The speaker is ok when playing tones and recieving phonecalls etc. The trouble is that 8/10 times my microphone starts to crackle the sound. If I shake the phone or blow into the microphone hole the problem usually disappears (it's very annoying!).
Do I have to send my T610 off to service?
Here's a recording I made with the built-in recording feature in the T610:
http://www.zsh.net/upload/members/scratchen/1610351665scratchensoundcrackle_microphone.amr (right click to download...).
Send the .amr file either to your phone or open it with Quicktime.

I doubt that it has to do with the firmware (I got a new FW 4 weeks ago, and then everything was fine, R3C002). Since the problem disappears when I shake the phone it seems to be a bad contact somewhere inside. I guess I have to send it off another time (waiting 1½ week..).

I've recorded some of the crackling! Play it with Quicktime on your computer (turn the volume up quite much, and you'll hear).
