Unhelpful reply.
Can't comment about the USA, but here in th eUK you don't need to buy the P900 - it has been free on the O2 network!
No but seriously, here the 3G network we have does not support high speed data and free access to the internet. So even if you get 3G it will take a while before all the services are available. Also, IMO, the 3G handsets are very large and have poor battery life. Now the rumour is that a replacement for the P900 is slated for Q3 04. But as usuall the specs for this are not known. But 3G networks in Europe have been slow to be implemented so I am not sure if SE will release a Pxxxx with UMTS capability. I think it will need WiFi - which I believe is very big in the US and Europe is slowly catching-up.
I had a P800 and now have a P900 and I feel it was a worthwhile upgrade (screen, flip, T9, etc).
My 2 cents.

Buy it and buy it now my friend, coz there aint nothing out there that comes this close to being the (almost but not quite) perfect piece of handheld technology.

IMO the small improvements over the P800 on the screen, UIQ (themes, T9, 65K colours, etc), electronic flip, camcorder, etc all add-up to make the overall improvement worthwhile.

Yes if you havent got a p800 maybe but what about the hardware this is make the phone faster and better at least for me what about the processor and mem and bluetooth and cam? its the same so it dosnt worth for me almost all the upgrades is in software exept of cource screen and flip.

Its worth just like buying a P800 - you dont really need it, but its damn fine to get and use it!

Just for accuracy - I had a P800 and sold it and got a P900. My priority is usability and portability. The battery of the P900 is better, the flip is much easier to use, the processor does seem to show films much better than on the P800 (the graphics processor must have been updated) and I like the external design. The OS feels more stable, even though I had few problems with TODs on the P800. And with the new Syncstation I can upgrade the firmware (in theory). The speaker is also better - sometimes I use the P900 to play a few MP3s on the speaker when I stuck in hotel and I am trying to go to sleep!
